"Some Kind of Wonderful" Digital Art Kit both by Creative Memories
Wow...2 months since I posted. Sheesh, life gets in the way, eh?
Yes, a lot has been going on and I have been altering my course along the way. I returned to work earlier this spring and quickly found that I just didn't have enough time for my scrapbooking pursuits, including my Creative Memories business and the local crops I helped to organize and host. Around the same time, CM filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy protection. Although they are trying to regroup, if they continue the company will look completely different and I have decided that I will not be part of it.
As for the blog, this will be my last post, (well, I have left and returned to this blog before, so I guess I should never say never!) but I will leave the blog online in case you find any of the archived posts helpful. I may consider moving the content over to a more general blog as I do enjoy writing and posting about life with my boys, crafts and home projects. If I do transfer things over, I will make sure to post a pointer to the new location.
So I'll leave you for now with my last layout for Scrap It With A Song today. The final song inspiration? "So What" by Pink! I love this song...it always gets me singing along and channeling my inner rocker bad-girl! On our recent vacation, my 8 year old son channeled HIS inner rocker when he grabbed his dad's cool Ray Bans and showed us some rocking attitude! He was mimicking the photos of Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, the Beatles and other classic rockers that lined the walls of a great little restaurant in Oregon that we visited while on vacation. Since we just got back from our holidays I haven't had time yet to print photos and create a traditional layout, so thank goodness for digital scrapping:

Make sure you hop over to SIWAS to see all the layouts inspired by the song and be sure to play along by posting your own layouts! Thanks to SIWAS for letting me be a part of a great group of gals...I had lots of fun with the challenges. Good luck to the new admin and design team!
And, thanks to you for visiting my blog. I always enjoyed posting and sharing with you, and was gratified to see my blog traffic increase and receive your emails and comments. Perhaps we'll meet in blogland again sometime. Until then, take care and happy scrapbooking!
