February 1-2-3 Cards


I was so happy to see the response to the introduction of the 1-2-3 Cards this past month! Thank you for leaving your comments - it was so much fun to interact with you - and today I'm back with a new design for February. These 1-2-3 Cards can be made quickly and easily with 1 Sentiment, 2 Paper Shapes and 3 Embellishments. Easy, fast and fun!

Although the samples I've made this month use Creative Memories Mi Amor Papers and embellishments (in honor to Valentine's Day!), you can easily vary these cards for all occasions by changing up the paper and coordinating embellishments. 



Every month I provide you with a FREE printable handout that shows the card sketch in both vertical and horizontal formats, provides the dimensions you'll need to recreate it, and includes a couple of sample cards for inspiration. I also create a short video showing you how to put them together AND offer you a chance to WIN a card kit! All you have to do to win is leave a comment at the end of the blog post or under the video on my YouTube Channel or both! At the end of each month I'll draw a random name from all the comments on both sites and send the lucky winner a kit to create the cards that were featured that month! So fun!

    OMG, I love your endless supply of ideas. I look forward to your posting every month and in between! I was wondering if you purchase the plastic bags to hold your card kits? Or, if you just make them. Love, Love, Love your cards, and page layout ideas. Thank you for all that you do for us - Happy Valentine's Day!!! Scrappin' Sue.

      Hi Sue! Thanks for your kind words! I actually get flap seal bags from www.clearbags.ca as I couldn't find regular zip-loc bags that were the right size. They are only a few cents per bag when you buy them in bulk!

      Hi Abby! The 1-2-3 Cards are a great way of getting into cardmaking! Sometimes you look on Pinterest and the cards are so beautiful but so intimidating! Hopefully you were able to try out one of these designs and found them simple to put together! There will be a new 1-2-3 Card Design each month so you can continue to make more!
