"Genuine" 1-2-3 Sketch and Layout - January 2020!

I know you're probably thinking that I'm behind again in posting my monthly 1-2-3 Sketch and Layout, but there's a good reason I'm posting it today...really! I was saving it until this very last day in the month because I wanted to feature it as my contribution to our Creative Life Scrapbooking PJ Party that's happening tonight! Every time my scrappy friends and I have a PJ Party, we choose one CM Collection to play with and share inspiration and ideas for using it. This time around we're using the fantastic masculine "Genuine" collection* by Creative Memories, and since I knew that I wanted to use this collection for the 1-2-3 this month, it made sense to share it tonight during the PJ Party!

If you haven't seen my 1-2-3 Sketches and Layouts before, they are a great way to get photos onto pages and into albums FAST! You only need ONE piece of double-sided patterned paper, TWO pieces of Cardstock (or Album Pages) for the base of your layout, and we'll make the entire layout with only THREE cuts! This month I've included spaces for up to EIGHT photos - two 4" x 6" and six 4" x 4" - and you can probably even fit another one or two in if you like! Here is the sketch:

You'll be able to get the link to a FREE handout with the sketch, cutting guide, instructions and sample layout at the end of this post, but I filmed a short video to show you how easy it is to cut the patterned paper and put the layout together. Sit back, watch and enjoy!

I love how many photos I was able to get on this layout without it becoming too busy, and it was fun how the masculine menswear inspired papers really work with the photos of my dapper hubby on his motorbike ready for the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride! No matter what photos you plan on using (or papers for that matter!) on this layout, I know it will come together just as fast and easily and look just a good as mine!
