Stitched Sentiments BONUS 1-2-3 Sketch and Layout!
Happy New Year - Happy Friday! I'm up for the first #FeatureProjectFriday over on the Creative Life Scrapbooking Facebook Page and I'm happy to be sharing a bonus 1-2-3 sketch and layout with you!
This is kind of an "Ooops...I'm sorry...Let me make it up to you" bonus layout. You see, every quarter during this past year (and moving forward into 2020 as well), Creative Memories released an exclusive paper pack that only Advisors could purchase. They could use it as gifts or prizes for the their customers, or create projects and classes with it. During quarters 1, 2 and 3 I created 1-2-3 Layout Guides that Advisors could purchase to use with the paper pack, but due to the craziness of quarter 4, I was unable to create an entire layout guide to go with the Stitched Sentiments Paper Pack. I felt awful abut it as many Advisors contacted me to request one, so, as a bit of a peace offering, I've created a free handout that shows how each of the Stitched Sentiment papers could be used with the same 1-2-3 sketch to create three very different layouts.
As you might know by now, my 1-2-3 Sketches and Layouts are a great way to get a two page layout done FAST! You only need ONE piece of double-sided patterned paper, TWO pieces of Cardstock (or Album Pages) for the base of your layout, and we'll make the entire layout with only THREE cuts! In this bonus 1-2-3 sketch I've included spaces for up to seven photos. Here's the sketch:
Although you can simply head over to the OCM shop to grab your copy of the FREE printable with the sketch, cutting guide and three sample layouts, I hope you have a few minutes to sit and relax and watch how the layouts came together! (And make sure to watch through to the end to get a sneak peek at the new exclusive paper pack for Quarter 1 2020!)
Here's a closer look at each of the three sample layouts....
Make sure you head over to the OCM shop to get your copy of the FREE printable handout with the sketch, cutting guide and instructions!

ReplyDeleteYou are so welcome! Enjoy!
DeleteI love this 1-2-3 layout used with neutral papers and the brighter cardstock plus seasonal embellishments, Noreen! Great job!
ReplyDeleteI do have one question. On the red cardstock mats for 6x4photos on the left hand page, is there a reason you cut the three mats individually instead of using one 6”x12” strip from the top to the bottom of the page, and then just evenly spacing your photos during mounting? I’m always frustrated when I can see a tiny bit of my white album page between mats, so I was just wondering what your thinking is on this.
Thanks again for sharing with us!
Hi Happy Scrapper! You can certainly use a 6 x 12 mat, or use red cardstock and just place the photos right on the cardstock base. When I add photo mats in place of photos on my sample layouts, I really do it to simply show placement of the photos. I don't mind a sliver of space between photos, but typically when I scrap my personal layouts with photos I either leave a bit larger (intentional) space between photos or make sure they all butt up against each other! Please do what works for you! <3 Noreen
