Croptoberfest is Coming!

Hi friends! September is here, Fall is officially just around the corner, and that means Croptoberfest is coming! Although most of us scrapbook all year long, Croptoberfest is an annual event to celebrate preserving photos and stories and creating album pages! This year, many Croptoberfest events will be virtual, including mine! Here's all the details...

Join me on the Organized and Creative Mom Facebook Page on Tuesday September 15th at 7:00 pm MDT for a FREE hour-long virtual Croptoberfest Celebration! It's open to anyone and everyone, so come join in! Tip: You might want to "Like" and/or "Follow" the OCM FB page if you haven't already, and sign up for notifications so you'll always know what's happening! To do that, click on the three little dots you see when you are on the page and then click on "Follow Settings" and choose "Standard". (Don't worry...you won't be barraged with notifications as I post only once per day AT THE MOST!)

Just before the Croptoberfest FB Live, I'll post a link to the FREE Croptoberfest 1-2-3 handout that we'll be using so you can download and print it out. Then, during our hour together online, we'll follow the cutting guide and instruction to make three versions of the Layout! It will be easy, fast & fun!

If you want to scrap along with me and make the exact layouts I create, you'll need to purchase the Croptoberfest Project Recipe Kit  shown below by Creative Memories. Aren't the papers and stickers GORGEOUS?! (If you are in Canada you can purchase it from my CM site at https://www.creativememories.ca/user/nsmith, or check with your local Creative Memories Advisor if you live outside of Canada!) 

The kit has six piece of double-sided paper, two pieces of coordinating cardstock, a sticker sheet and the "recipes" for creating two double page spreads designed by Creative Memories. We will NOT be creating the spreads shown in the kit, so if you like the idea of creating more layouts with these papers, you might want to order two kits - one to use during my Croptoberfest event and one to make up the layouts as shown! Heck...the papers are so lovely that you might want to order even more kits!

You'll also need cardstock base pages or album pages, and your basic scrapbooking tools. And, as with all of my 1-2-3 designs, you can use ANY double-sided papers and coordinating embellishments for the layouts!

And, did I mention there will be prizes? I will be drawing names from those who leave comments during the LIVE broadcast, so make sure you tune in to watch! Although we won't be scrapping together in person, it will be the next best thing. I'm sure it's going to be lots of fun putting together these layouts with the beautiful Croptoberfest products and I DO hop to "see" you then! Until then...
