Weekend Web Round-Up - July 17

We had a couple of unexpected events happen around our place in the past couple of days that prevented me from posting. Sorry about that! Everything is fine and hopefully we're back on track (although you just never know when you have a crazy 1 year old in the house!)

So today I'll give you the Weekend Web Round-Up of places to visit over the weekend AS WELL AS the videos and links I was going to post for Watch n' Learn Wednesday - you'll have lots to keep you busy online this weekend (and here is it supposed to get hotter than it has all year, so I think the kiddos and I might be down in the basement avoiding the heat!)

Check these out:

Jen Gallagher from Scrapbook Trends Magazine shows three tips for using journaling on your scrapbook pages. Very cute ideas!

This Scrapbook TV video shows beginners how to add handwritten journaling to their pages. Good tips, especially if you are afraid to write on your pages!

Donna Salazar from Prima shows how to make a journaling album on the latest episode of Fiskars TV.

And finally, check out the Scraptutor video at Scrapbook.com on creating a page with integrated journaling on your computer.

Now for some great journaling resources around the web.
Here are 42 journaling prompts by Joanna Campbell Slan for Memory Makers Magazine. Also check out Joanna's website "Scrapbook Storytelling" for more journaling advice and prompts.

Celeste Smith has been the host over at Write.Click.Scrapbook. this week. She shared some great insight into her journaling process and even gave us a link to some FREE printable journaling spots!

And finally, if you don't already know about WORDLE, definitely go and play with it this weekend! You can create some beautiful word clouds that will add a fun twist to the journaling on your layouts!

Have a great weekend!
