Summer Blog Hop: Sun-Kissed Layouts!

Hello friends! Happy Summer, and happy Fourth of July to all of you joining us from the USA! You have arrived at the final stop on Creative Life Scrapbooking's Summer Blog Hop! I always love our hops with so many fun new ideas and great inspiration! Today, I'm sharing a layout featuring Creative Memories' Sun-Kissed Collection, which of course is THE perfect collection to capture all your fun summer memories!

Now that school is out, I was finally able to finish up a new project that I've been working on since May - a 14 page, full-color guide featuring sketches, cutting guides and instructions to create five double page layouts and a bonus card project using the Sun-Kissed Paper Pack, Stickers, Layered Embellishments and Variety Mat Pack.

I began creating this guide as an appreciation gift for my Canadian based Creative Memories customers, but I know many of you who live outside of Canada, or who are CM Advisors may also want a copy. I'm happy to tell you that it is now available for purchase in the OCM shop! (Note: All my personal customers who have made a purchase on my (Canadian) CM website since January of this year will be receiving their own copy with my compliments in the next few days!)

In the image above you can see a snippet of a layout featuring the cutest little mermaid. The sketch, cutting guide, instructions and the completed sample layout are all in the guide, but I thought I would share my personal version of that layout with you today...this is the one that's going in the family vacation album!

As with all my layouts, it came together quickly and easily and used only one sheet of patterned paper from the Sun-Kissed Paper Pack. It's my hope that this guide (and future ones like it) will help you maximize the Creative Memories products you purchase and allow you to create many layouts in a short period of time. In fact, although I didn't time it, I believe you could make all five of the double page layouts in the guide during a 1-2 hour crop! I really hope you enjoy it and that it makes scrapbooking simpler for you!
