Christmas in July - Cards
Edited August 1, 2012 - I just came across a cool new-to-me blog called Christmas Card Challenges. The challenge this week was to create a Christmas card with NO STAMPING, and I think I got that covered in this post! I am linking up to the challenge here. Enjoy all the new inspiration!

If you are a scrapbooker or papercrafter, chances are you make some of your own cards to send to friends and family at Christmas time. Instead of waiting until the last minute this year, why not take some time now to make a batch (or two, or three!) of cards?
I mentioned in my previous post on Christmas scrapbook layots that I had lots of scraps and stickers left over from the Cheerful Christmas Additions, so I just added some more solid cardstock in white, red and black to comlete all these cards! Yes, cards are a great way to "recycle" your leftovers! I also used some cardstock scraps and punched some tags with my trusty Tag Maker punch (I swear this punch gets used more than any of my other punches...LOVE IT!). I also used my Circle Maker punch, my Wavy Cutting Blade for my Rotary Trimmer and the Cricut Tis the Season Cartridge. I love how these tools give my cards some extra details and variety, even when using the same papers over and over again!
I also made a variety of sizes for a little fun...the traditional 4.5 x 6.5 fits great in an invitation size envelope, but a little 4x4 card does double duty as a card and a gift tag! I hope some of these designs inspire you...
