Cricut Holiday Frames and Tags Cartridge #2 + a GIVEAWAY!
On Monday I showed you a sweet favour box made with the new Holiday Frames and Tags Cricut Cartridge. Today I want to share four tags that I cut from the cartridge and used as the Make & Take at my retreat this past weekend. (Note to self...cutting four layered tags for 40+ ladies, even with the Cricut, is not something I want to repeat! Ha!)
Anyway...the ladies loved the tags! The first two tags were made with the Be Merry Papers and our coordinating solid cardstock in Cactus and Cranberry with White Shimmer accents thrown in (to match the gorgeous pearlized details on the Be Merry papers!)

Round Ornament Tag
Although you can't see it very well in the photo, I used the White Shimmer paper for the centre "burst"...it's lovely in person. I also used CM's Olive chalking ink around the edges of all layers (Psst...make sure to read on to the end of this post to find out how you can get a set of these exclusive CM Chalking Inks for yourself!)
Cut at 3 inches from "Dot" key - used Tag and Tag Layer features.
Flip Tag with Shimmery Snowflake
This tag was a bit of a mix-up...I ended up using the base of one tag and the snowflake embellishment from another! I made it a flip tag by only adhering the ring of the layer cut with the blue damask pattern paper...not the whole thing. The main pieces were inked with the Olive chalking ink for a tone on tone look, and the snowflake is cut from the shimmer paper for a snowy effect!
Cut at 3.5 inches. The base was cut from "Wire" key using Tag feature.
The snowflake and it's shadow were cut from the "Hexagon" key using the Tag Layer feature.

The other two tags were created using the Nordic Papers along with the coordinating Red and Green Apple Cardstock. (Green Apple is possibly my favorite color of all time!)
Ornate Ornament Tag
This tag has a fourth layer I did not include for efficiency's sake! I used the Barn Red chalking ink around all edges.
Cut at 3 inches from "Oval 3" key - used Tag and Tag Layer features.
Secret Tag
I like this tag as you can write a little secret note inside. It would be so cute done in pastel colors too...very Springy. I did a little chalking with the Barn Red ink just around the edges of the tag and the inside white card.
Cut at 3.5 inches from "Victrian" key - used Tag and Tag Layer features.
After seeing what this baby can do, many ladies ordered the cartridge so they could make lots more tags for Christmas AND other holidays throughout the year. They also ordered it because I had a great special on during my retreat that I'm passing on to my blog readers...you can receive your own set of the three exclusive Chalking Inks in Barn Red, Olive and Plum FREE with any $50.00 purchase you place through me until December 30th! These Inks are a $12.00 value and are not available for retail purchase.
Since the Holiday Frames and Tags Cartridge retails for $60.00, you would receive the Inks free when you order it for your Cricut collection! You can email your order to me, and I will include the Inks when I deliver it to you. If you aren't in the Calgary area, you can order directly from my secure CM website and I will send your free Chalking Inks to you separately in the mail!
Either way, be sure to order soon...the cartridges are a Limited Edition Product and will probably be gone by the end of December. If you place your order by December 9th, you'll get it in time to make those last minute tags for your Christmas presents!
Stop by later this week for a few more ideas using this great cartridge...a pillow box and gift card holder!
