Fiskars Threading Water Border Punch

I recently purchased the Fiskar’s “Threading Water” border punch which creates the look of eyelet lace by punching a scalloped edge with a tiny hole in each scallop. Scalloped edges are so very trendy right now and I loved the look this punch gave me without any work. The punch is a perfect choice to enhance baby, wedding or girly pages, but it will also add a soft touch to any page. I love it for cards as well.

To use the border punch it’s easier if you turn it over so you can see where the paper is. Punch once, then without removing your paper, slide it along until the last punched edge lines up with the beginning of the punch. Punch again and continue along until the entire length of your paper is complete. With the Threading Water punch you may have to trim off small edges at the beginning and end of the border.

Fiskars tools are of high quality and work very well. They have a wonderful website ( www.fiskars.com) with a wide variety of projects and bi-weekly web TV shows.
